Ask every recruiter

  1. 1What's the full weekly pay, split into taxable hourly pay and tax-free stipends?
  2. 2Are my hours guaranteed? What happens if the hospital cancels a shift?
  3. 3When does health insurance start, and what does it cost me?
  4. 4Will you pay for my license, certifications, travel and the drug screen?
  5. 5What's the cancellation policy for me and for the hospital?
  6. 6Is housing provided, or do I get a stipend and find my own?
  7. 7What are the shift, unit and floating rules, in writing?
  8. 8Can I extend if I like it, and is there an end-of-contract bonus?
